The last Monday of May is about to arrive so lets be ready to celebrate Memorial Day. Do not make it just a day off from your work of study.  Celebrate this Decoration Day in remembrance and honor to the union soldiers of the American Civil War.

When any special day is observed like Memorial Day, then various important activities also take place. Here si the list of some major ones. .

Another thing that happens on Memorial Day from dawn to noon is a tradition of flying the flag of the United States at half-staff.

On Memorial Day, every year the National Memorial Day Concert is held. The concert takes place at west lawn of the United States Capitol. The interesting thing is that this concert is broadcasted live on couple of channels which include PBS & NPR.
