Eid- ul-fitr which is also called Meethi Eid is celebrated after the month of Ramadan. Eve before eid is quite an interesting part as eid is celebrated if moon is sighted and as the announcement of moon takes place the preparations becomes faster, this eve is called chand raat.

Eidi is a main attraction of eid especially for kids which elders give to younger people and it is mostly in the form of cash. Friends, and relatives visit each other and have good time together. Family and friends also invite on lunch or dinners which doubles the charm of eid. It won’t be wrong if we say that eid is a colorful event which is full of happiness.

A thing to keep in mind is that while preparing for eid don’t forget those who cannot afford to buy a new dress, may be you can add color of happiness to anyone’s eid. If you cannot afford to do much for someone you can at least buy sweets and small gifts for poor kids as eidi
